40th Anniversary

Message from the President

Dear NCVPRN members,

Welcome to AACVPR & NCVPRN’s joint affiliation membership!

The NCVPRN Board and Committees will be communicating from time to time with email blasts through the email address, Nebraska@AACVPR.org. This email blast process is facilitated through AACVPR as a part of our joint affiliation so we can make sure we are reaching all current joint affiliate members. Any direct replies to the blasts will come back to our President, Jennifer Fjell and then will be distributed to the board member or committee chair that can best answer your concern or questions. We hope you find this communication tool useful, and we think it will be a great help to us in being able to access an up-to-date email list of our members.

Our joint affiliate website, https://central.aacvpr.org/ncvprn/home, is up and running and we are in the process of updating it to provide current information and make it more user friendly for everyone. We welcome your input as to what you would like to see on the website. We are now on Facebook! Follow us at NCVPRN. In addition to the valuable resources on the NCVPRN website, you can also review it for updates and local CEU's. Please save the date, October 9th & 10th for the Fall Conference. Please take note that this is one week later this year!

If your hospital's contact information changes, you will need to update this yourself through the AACVPR website. If your local cardiac or pulmonary rehabilitation program information changes, please email our Membership Committee Chair, Dani Ronk, so we can keep our NCVPRN website up to date. You can find a list of all Nebraska programs and contact information at

Committees are a big focus for our organization.  We feel the committee work is the lifeblood of our organization and what helps to build our future leaders.  We are searching for someone who enjoys working with social media and would like to join the Marketing & Development Committee with the main focus of managing that aspect of NCVPRN.  Please send the President or any board member an email if you are ever interested in serving on a committee.  You can check out all the committees on NCVPRN’s website to see the responsibilities and benefits of joining a committee.

Also, keep in mind that the AACVPR website, www.AACVPR.org, contains a wealth of information for you as members. AACVPR offers webcasts, at no charge, to members as a part of your joint affiliate membership.  With each webcast you are awarded 1.0 CEC for participation.  If you haven’t taken a few minutes to explore the site, you are missing out on a valuable resource provided to you as part of your membership.

Congratulations on your commitment to AACVPR and NCVPRN’s joint affiliate membership!
