Program Certification Initial Reviewer Training Call Recording
The 2026 Program Certification Initial Reviewer Training Call will be held on March 4, 2025 at 12:00 pm CT. The recording of the session will be posted on this page after the event takes place.
2026 Program Certification Application Score Sheet- This score sheet was designed to help reviewers in their assessment of their assigned applications. The Checklist will allow you easily identify critical requirements for each page of the application process.

Each reviewer will receive approximately TBD applications to review this year.
2026 Review Timeline:
- Initial Application Review Period: March 5 - May 15
- You will be assigned approximately TBD applications to review
- The average time required will range between 5 to 10 hours a week, with the goal of completing the assigned reviews along the following timeline:
- March 5 - Reviews Begin
- April 1 - 25% of completed
- April 15 - 50% completed
- April 29 - 75% completed
- May 15 - 100% completed
- Remediation Application Period: August 1 - October 1
- You will be assigned approximately 8-10 applications to coach through the remediation process.
- The average time required to complete the reviews will be between 1 to 3 hours a week.
2026 Reviewer Q&A Calls
Please see below for the current schedule of Reviewer Q&A calls. All reviewers will be sent calendar invites for our scheduled Reviewer Q&A calls. If you are missing any of the calendar invites, please let us know. All calls will be recorded and posted here for anyone unable to join the calls.
To submit questions for the calls, please send an email to certification@aacvpr.org at least a day before the scheduled call with the program name and program ID so we can pull up the application for review on the call.

How to Check For Sister Programs - This document includes instructions on how to check if a program listed any sister programs when submitting their application. Most sister programs will share a name, and some may have linked programs that were not up for recertification this year. As part of the review assignment process, we did our best to assign sister programs to the same reviewer to help ensure consistency when reviewing the policies and procedures. If you have questions about sister programs, please feel free to reach out to certification@aacvpr.org. NOTE: If you see a sister program listed but you are not assigned to review that sister program, no need to take action. Some sister programs were not due to recertify this year, and some sister programs were split up, generally if a high number of sister programs were identified for a specific health system.

Initial Review Applications will be available starting March 6. To access your assigned applications starting on March 6, please click the button below and then click on the "Reviewer Access" tab. Within that tab, click on the "Review Certifications" link to be directed to your reviewer dashboard.
