The 2019 Program Certification application opened on Dec. 1, 2019, and will close Feb. 29, 2020. We enter our third year obtaining performance measures through the application. Please ensure your program is ready by visiting the PM Measures website here.

There are many certification resources available on AACVPR’s website. The Certification Center (certification@aacvpr.org) is available for any questions or concerns, however, please be patient during the months of Dec. – Feb. as you may experience a slight delay due to the volume of responses . We encourage you to refer to the application and FAQ page on the website; most of your questions can be answered in those two areas.

As a reminder, please see 2020 Program Certification Cycle timeline below:

ANNUAL REPORT

With the introduction of the Annual Report requirement, the Program Certification Leadership seeks to ensure all programs certified through AACVPR have up-to-date information and tools needed to maintain the current standards required for certification.

In 2019, the Annual Report was released in March 2019 to 1,314 programs that were due to recertify in 2020 or 2021. 1179 programs or 90% completed their annual reports. This completion rate was exceptional; and ensures that programs have the most up-to-date information on the program certification process while they prepare for their next application.

The Program Certification Leadership and team appreciates all the work you do for your programs and patients. We look forward to seeing your program shine through its alignment with the latest evidence-based medicine, expert opinion, current regulations, and measurement of individualized patient outcomes.

Thank you for your commitment to AACVPR Program Certification.
